Missed opportunity…

Unfortunately, I live in a very hilly country, so some of the astronomical events aren’t observable from my area. On 7th July 2017, a partial lunar eclipse occured. I planned on making an HDR of the sunlit and the eclipsed lunar surface, which would really be breathtaking. As I could not travel due to the heavy telescope I used, I stayed at the place thinking the hills will not obstruct the view too much. Oh my, I was so wrong. The Moon wasn’t visible even during the end of the partial eclipse, and climbed up only after the penumbral part. So, the image I am left with isn’t anything amazing…
