Magical eclipse view over the Rhodes Island

What a wonderful time I spent in Rhodes Island, Greece! Enjoying 103 minutes of total lunar eclipse on 27th July, 2018 over cliff of one of most silent and beautiful island’s beach, I could see the dark-orange eclipsed Moon in Gegenschein, bright Mars in its great opposition, the Milky Way with Saturn „swamped“ in it and Jupiter over the horizon. I’ve noticed my friend Marian Runkas and his girlfriend Vladimira Krskova dreamily watching all around. They looked like a couple on honeymoon by the eclipsed Moon 🙂 Both great photographers were totally amazed with this particular view and I believe both of them will never forget they were part of that. For this panoramatic shot was used Canon 6D IR Baader modified, Canon 35 mm, f2.5, ISO 10000, 13s exposures (sky) from tripod and HDR exposures of the Moon (and Vixen Polarie mount).
